Who you are contracting with

The software is ShownTrue. The SALE is Lemon Squeezy, who are the merchant of record: they take the payment, handle the tax, and are the seller named on your receipt. Their buyer terms govern the purchase; these terms govern the software.

What the product does

It reads your website, imports the figures Google already publishes to you about it, proposes changes, and writes drafts. Every proposal carries the working behind it.

Nothing goes live without you

A change reaches your website only after a person approves it, and the record of who approved it cannot be edited afterwards. This is enforced by the database rather than promised by this page: a publish carrying no approver is refused even by the internal account that bypasses every other rule.

What is not promised

No ranking, no traffic figure and no position is promised, by this product or by anybody operating it. Nobody can promise those, and the ones who do are the reason this exists. What is promised is that every number shown to you traces to your own crawl or your own Search Console figures, and that you can see which.

Estimates bought from third-party indexes, where they appear, are labelled as estimates.

Your data stays yours

Your content, your crawls and your figures belong to you. They are not used to train anything, and they are not shown to another customer. What is stored and who it reaches is set out in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Crawl sites you own or are authorised to crawl. The crawler obeys what a site publishes about what may be visited, and it refuses private and internal addresses. Do not use this to build networks of sites for selling links, and do not use it for bulk unsolicited contact: outreach is regulated, and a lawful basis, an identifiable sender and a working unsubscribe are required.

Stopping

You can stop at any time, and you keep whatever was already published to your own website, because it is on your website. You can export what is held about you before you go. Nothing is held back to make leaving harder.

Changes to these terms

If these change in a way that matters to you, you will be told before the change applies, not afterwards.
